Job Summary
Perform a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, and evaluation. Apply clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards required by specific clinical areas while adhering to professional performance standards such as ethics, communication, collaboration, and evidence-based practice. Maintain Virginia RN licensure and obtain Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire. Work all shifts at the 16-bed Neuro Intermediate Care Unit in Norfolk, VA, providing highly skilled care to a variety of patients.
Required Qualifications
- Virginia RN License REQUIRED
- Registered Nurse (RN) Degree REQUIRED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 90-days of hire
- Prior RN experience PREFERRED
