Job Summary
Monitor patients' health status, anticipate complications, and respond quickly in emergency situations while participating in the planning, organization, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. Work in a fast-paced clinical environment alongside an interdisciplinary team, potentially accompanying patients during transfers or working across different care units. Maintain bilingualism in French and English, hold a recognized nursing diploma, and possess at least one year of relevant clinical experience. Complete required training including ACLS, TNCC, and CTAS within prescribed timelines. Join the Emergency Department team at Campbellton Regional Hospital to contribute directly to the health and safety of the community in a welcoming, safe environment.
Required Qualifications
- hold a recognized nursing diploma
- be a member in good standing of a Canadian professional nursing association
- be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick or the nursing regulatory body of another Canadian province
- have at least one year of relevant clinical nursing experience acquired within the last five years
- hold a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- be bilingual in French and English
- be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- have the physical ability to perform the work
- be legally authorized to work in Canada and New Brunswick
- Cardiac arrhythmia course
- Critical care training — Emergency stream, or equivalent
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
- Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) course
- Certifications related to delegated medical acts specific to the Emergency Department
