Job Summary
Registered Nurse on Neuro/Cardiac ICU units within YNHH Health System; provides comprehensive patient care, develops and documents individualized plans of care, collaborates with interdisciplinary team, and coordinates education for patients and families. Roles include supervising non-RN staff, serving as a preceptor for new staff, and acting as a charge nurse. Emphasizes adherence to professional standards, patient-centered care, and ongoing development within a high-acuity cardiac/neuro critical care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification encouraged
