Job Summary
Registered Nurse provides patient care on a nursing unit, assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care; supervises non‐RN personnel; serves as charge nurse and preceptor; works under the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator; clinical focus includes neuro and cardiac ICU care, airway management, care for trached patients, Halo brace, and ventilator support, with emphasis on developing individualized care plans, documenting outcomes, and coordinating with the healthcare team. Requires a nursing degree with BSN preferred and active CT nursing licensure (BCLS certification within one month of hire).
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut. Clinical specialty certification encouraged.
