Registered Nurse - YNHH

Registered Nurse position on a Neuro/Cardiac ICU unit in a Cardinal-health network environment. Responsibilities include assessing the patient’s physical and psychosocial condition, developing and documenting a plan of care, coordinating care with the healthcare team, implementing and evaluating the plan, supervising non-RN personnel, serving as a charge nurse, and providing education and precepting to new staff. Requires competency in neuro assessment, airway management of neuro patients, care of trached patients, and familiarity with devices such as ventilators, ECMO, LVAD/Impella, and post-operative cardiac surgery care. BSN preferred; current CT RN license and BCLS are required or obtained within a month of hire. The unit emphasizes high-quality patient-centered care within a fast-paced cardiac/critical care environment.
