Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Wound Ostomy Continence and Hyperbaric Medicine (WON) provides expert, integrated patient care for high-risk patients with complex issues across care settings. The WON coordinates clinical care, integrates advanced pathophysiology knowledge, and collaborates with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, monitor, and evaluate outcomes. Functions as care provider, educator, and consultant within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, offering leadership through preceptor roles and quality improvement activities. Requires state licensure and VisaScreen or equivalent certification. TN sponsorship is available. Location: Jacksonville, FL. This role is full-time and in-person.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- VisaScreen or equivalent certification for licensure in the state of practice
- TN sponsorship eligibility
- F1 OPT eligible for post-completion (not STEM)
- baccalaureate or higher nursing education preferred (implicit in RN role)
