Registered Nurse Wound Care

Assess and document patients' wounds, apply dressings and treatments, and provide comprehensive care for inpatient, outpatient, and hyperbaric therapy cases. Educate patients and families on wound care techniques, manage ostomies and continence issues, and track healing progress to modify care plans and ensure post-discharge follow-up. Implement infection control measures, consult during hospital stays for pressure injuries, and interact with community resources for continuity of care. Maintain certification through continuing education and professional development activities.
