Job Summary
Execute highly technical bedside assessments for skin integrity, ostomy management, and containment strategies. Direct advanced therapies and oversee the selection of specialized medical products and therapeutic surfaces. Provide hands-on training and comprehensive discharge planning to ensure patients and their families safely transition to independent home care. Serve as the hospital's primary internal authority for these critical areas. This role requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or Kentucky, with a Bachelor's degree and wound, ostomy, and continence nursing specialty certifications obtained within two years of hire. Floats to Midtown, Gateway, and Henderson campuses.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana and Kentucky, or a compact license
- Bachelor's Degree
- Within two (2) years of hire, wound, ostomy, and continence nursing specialty certifications from a WOCN Society accredited program
