Job Summary
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized wound care treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments in an outpatient/inpatient setting. Perform detailed wound evaluations including staging, measurement, and ongoing reassessment of healing progress. Monitor, document, and communicate changes in wound status and overall patient condition. Execute physician and nursing orders related to wound treatments, advanced dressings, and therapeutic interventions. Maintain accurate documentation, demonstrate strong infection prevention practices and safe medication handling, and utilize EMR for charting. Requires RN licensure in Indiana and BLS; diploma or equivalent nursing education accepted. Preferred: 1 year of infusion experience with strong IV therapy/venous access skills, expertise in infusion administration (biologics, antibiotics, hydration, oncology, outpatient infusion), wound assessment/dressings, and ability to manage time, room turnover, and outpatient workflows.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in Indiana
- BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program OR professional licensure at time of hire
- 1 year of infusion experience preferred
- Strong IV therapy and venous access skills
- Infusion administration and monitoring for biologics/antibiotics/hydration/oncology/outpatient infusion
- Wound assessment and basic wound care competency
- Documentation and EMR proficiency
