Registered Nurse Woodlawn Emergency Room

Deliver patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Room setting using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) and coordinate with other disciplines to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include directing and coordinating all nursing care for the department-specific patient population, administering medications per guidelines, ensuring safety and cost-effectiveness, and participating in quality improvement activities. Requires current RN status (RN Diploma) with certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and Trauma Nursing Core Course within specified timeframes, and the ability to apply age-appropriate competencies to the patient population. Emphasizes collaboration with patients, families, and health care providers, ongoing professional development, and delivering compassionate care aligned with organizational standards.
