Job Summary
RN provides quality nursing care by following physician orders and regulations; administers medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) per policy; leads and supervises nursing assistants; assists physicians with rounds; performs treatments, documents care, and maintains infection control; participates in admissions scheduling and annual physicals; requires NC nursing license and CPR certification; ensures compliance with standards and quality of care; attention to patient, family, and interdepartmental collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing
- CPR certification
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants
- Experience with geriatric nursing and patient care
- Ability to follow physician’s orders and maintain infection control standards
- Background checks/drug-free workplace
