Job Summary
Provide nursing care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a geriatric setting. Administer medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) as ordered and in accordance with facility policies. Lead and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies; assist physicians with rounds; drape and care for patients during rounds, exams, and treatments. Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control measures, and ensure compliance with cleanliness and universal precautions. Contribute to research related to nursing quality, assist with records and assessments of new admissions, and help schedule annual physician physicals with timely documentation. Maintain compliance with regulations and participate in in-service training and staff meetings. Requires RN licensure, CPR certification, and ability to collaborate with patients, families, doctors, and nursing staff.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- NC nursing license or eligibility
- CPR certification
