Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized care plans for women and newborns by analyzing health data and applying evidence-based nursing practice. Coordinate care delivery to promote family-centered outcomes while evaluating progress and determining ethical decisions regarding fetal and infant safety. Serve as a role model, mentor, and consultant to women, families, and healthcare professionals by communicating holistically and collaborating across the community. Generate and integrate evidence to improve nursing practice quality and evaluate others against professional standards and guidelines. Practice in an environmentally safe manner while maintaining constant alertness and performing assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy Pediatrics (AAP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Essentials - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
