Job Summary
Manage women's services activities, workflow, and nursing resources to develop individualized plans of care for women and newborns. Coordinate delivery to promote family-centered care, evaluate progress toward outcomes, and communicate with families and healthcare providers. Serve as a role model, change agent, consultant, and mentor while applying evidence-based practice to improve quality and safety. Works in a constant state of alertness, performing duties as assigned. Night shift position requiring 2 shifts monthly including one weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy Pediatrics (AAP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Essentials - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
