Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized plans of care for women, newborns, and families by analyzing health data and applying evidence-based nursing practices. Coordinate care delivery, conduct health teaching, and evaluate progress toward measurable outcomes within a family-centered framework. Serve as a role model, change agent, and mentor while collaborating with providers and the community to ensure safe, holistic delivery. Manage workflow and nursing resources to maintain high-quality standards across maternal and child services. Requires a registered nurse license, BLS, and ALS certification, with 36 hours per week on a variable shift including on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing

- Must be available for every 4th weekend rotation
- Must be available for on call rotation variable
- Must be available for above the base hours for this role
- Must be able to lift 0-25 lbs

- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, grip
- Must be able to drive occasionally
- Must be able to use vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more)
- Must be able to distinguish colors
- Must be able to detect/recognize odors
- Must be able to receive oral communication, distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery
- Must be able to use speech to share information through oral communication
- Must be able to stand and walk constantly
- Must be able to sit, reach and keyboard use/data entry frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in labor is strongly preferred
- Strong ICU backgrounds will also be considered
