Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized plans of care for women and newborns by collecting health data, coordinating delivery, and evaluating progress toward measurable outcomes. Provide health teaching strategies, communicate with families and providers, and serve as a role model and mentor while adhering to ethical decision-making and cultural inclusion principles. Generate evidence to improve nursing practice, evaluate personal and team performance against standards, and apply scientific knowledge to address age-specific clinical needs. Work in a constant state of alertness, maintaining safety and environmental health during night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
