Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Women's Medical unit provides direct patient care under supervision, leads and delegates nursing activities, and collaborates with the healthcare team to plan and discharge patients. Responsibilities include evaluating patient care, identifying opportunities for improvement, teaching patients and families, participating in unit-based quality improvement and research, maintaining credentialing standards, and serving as a role model/preceptor to new staff. Requires active RN licensure in Rhode Island, BLS and ACLS/PALS as appropriate; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred. Location: Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI; Day shift; full-time. Pay range aligns with RN roles in Brown University Health system.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure in Rhode Island
- Current RN licensure in Rhode Island
- BLS certification
- ACLS or PALS as appropriate
- Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred
