Job Summary
Assess patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and medical record review. Develop and implement individualized patient plans of care while evaluating outcomes in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrate competency in therapeutic interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, and specimen collections. Provide patient and family education by assessing learning readiness and evaluating teaching effectiveness. Maintain accurate, timely documentation of status, interventions, and responses in patient charts. Thoroughly maintain confidential patient records and use information technology to support decision-making. Promote, advocate for, and collaborate to protect patient health, safety, and rights.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- RN License in state of employment
- Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally
- up to 20 lbs. frequently
- up to 10lbs. constantly
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- One (1) year L&D experience
