Job Summary
Provide specialized post-operative care to patients recovering from emergency general and trauma surgeries in a post-anesthesia/surgical step-down unit. Manage care of patients with external fixators and multi-system injuries, applying expertise unique to a post-operative unit distinct from standard Medical-Surgical nursing. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; licensure in North Carolina or Multi-State/Compact licensure required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Night shift duties in a surgical/med-surg setting with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
