Job Summary
Educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the post-partum period while performing dual care for infants and maternal education. Provide postpartum support within the Maternity department at CoxHealth South, located in Springfield, Missouri. Requires an active Missouri RN license, BLS certification within 90 days, and NRP certification within one year. Schedule includes 24 hours per week from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days)
- NRP certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Previous nursing experience
- 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM shift
- Night Shift
