Job Summary
Educate and assist new mothers with their physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period while performing the dual role of caring for infants and teaching mothers about their care. Manage the postpartum unit during day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, ensuring patients receive comprehensive support within CoxHealth's six hospitals and over 80 clinics across southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas. This Registered Nurse position requires an active Missouri RN license, BLS certification within 90 days, and NRP certification within one year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days)
- NRP certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
