Job Summary
Provide triage, emergency, and perinatal nursing care to obstetric and neonatal patients in the Women and Infants Obstetrics Emergency Department. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams; support families through critical, high-acuity situations. Perform patient assessments, administer medications, manage fetal monitoring, and respond to obstetric emergencies. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent preferred (if stated)
- Obstetrics/gynecology emergency department experience preferred (if stated)
- BLS/ACLS certification (often expected for ED)
- Ability to triage, perform assessments, administer medications, monitor fetal status, respond to obstetric emergencies
