Job Summary
Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care on the Surgical/Orthopedic Unit at Northwest Hospital, functioning as an advisor and resource for patients and families. Assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms, and develop patient care plans to enhance outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care across a 40-bed acute care unit covering general surgery, orthopedics, bariatric, urology, and other specialties. Requires an active Maryland RN license, ADN or BSN, and BLS certification. Full-time weekend schedule with pay ranging from $37.15 to $57.58 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license or Compact State license
- ADN or BSN required
- BLS required (AHA or Red Cross)
- Less than one year experience
