Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in long-term care and home care settings, administering prescribed medications and collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to support residents' health and wellness. Responsibilities include administering direct nursing care, planning resident care, and performing diabetes management, dialysis, IV medications, palliative care, phlebotomy, and wound care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Must maintain safe, compassionate, ethical care and hold (or be eligible for) licensure with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses.
