Job Summary

Conduct nursing assessments for behavioral health populations and create individualized treatment plans using established best practices. Screen patients across age groups to determine needs, provide referrals to community partners, and intervene during emergencies with evidence-based strategies. Maintain a therapeutic environment while assisting in developing relationships that support participants in meeting personal goals. Participate in collaborative care team meetings and facilitate preventative and restorative health education in individual, group, and community settings. Assist the Regional Director of Accreditation in obtaining facility accreditation with CARF, JC, and other bodies. Promote professional cooperation with WestCare staff to support the organization's mission and vision.

Required Qualifications

  • Current / Valid RN license
  • Additional certification(s)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain WestCare's vehicle insurance
  • Graduation from an accredited two-year or four-year nursing program
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least five (5) years' experience working with clients/patients in a substance abuse, counseling, medical, or mental health setting
  • Ability to work with others in a manner that is pleasant and professional
  • Ability to work well, both individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Regular and prompt attendance

Desired Qualifications

  • Occasional outdoor work and travel between multiple locations
