Job Summary
Assess and plan individual treatment programs, administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and assist with medical or minor surgical procedures under Charge Nurse supervision. Count controlled substances and implement clinical aspects of care per established protocols while documenting encounters using the SOAP form. Communicate critical information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain current Registered Nurse licensure and CPR certification within the state of employment. This role supports a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing compassionate care to underserved and vulnerable individuals through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
