Job Summary
Assess and plan individual treatment programs by consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as necessary. Implement medical plans through administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures. Count controlled substances and document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting while attending mandatory staff meetings and training. Communicate critical information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills within a mission-driven environment focused on caring for underserved and vulnerable patients.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
