Job Summary
RN provides plans, coordinates and manages nursing care and health education for nursing home residents. Supervises nursing care by nursing assistants, assigns work, coordinates care using physician orders, administers medications, conducts nursing assessments and develops care plans within the unit, while ensuring resident safety and compliance with policies and laws. Requires active RN license and CPR; experience in gerontological/nursing home care preferred. Weekend day shift at StoneBridge Senior Living in Maryland Heights, MO with benefits including PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k), tuition assistance, and Flexible Scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Additional nursing specialty certification desirable
- Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting
- Basic computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing to residents, staff and others
