Job Summary
Weekend On-Call RN responsible for nursing care of hospice patients per physician orders; assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates total patient care and nursing care plans; available for weekend patient visits and related phone consultations; performs patient and family teaching; requires RN license in the operating state; hospice/home health experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation.
- Nursing experience required, with experience in Hospice or Home Health preferred.
- Must posses a sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures and elements of patient family teaching.
