Job Summary
RN - Medical Surgical (Weekend Option) provides direct nursing care in medical-surgical units per policies and procedures. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to develop and implement care plans, conducting assessments, coordinating with patients, families, and interprofessional teams, educating patients and families, promoting evidence-based practice, and mentoring others. Requires RN license in Illinois, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience. Schedule features full-time hours with a Weekend Option (Friday–Sunday). Pay range is $31.21–$49.94 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- One year registered nurse experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois IDFPR
