Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Sug at Mercy Hospital South in Saint Louis, MO. Provides patient care using the nursing process, maintains professional accountability, evaluates care effectiveness, and coordinates patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. Weekend option schedule (Fri, Sat & Sun) with full-time 36 hours/week. Requires MO RN license or compact licensure; BSN preferred and BLS certification (or completion within 30 days). Prior hospital experience is preferred. Mercy offers benefits, tuition support, and retirement plans for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
