Job Summary
Conduct patient visits and resolve issues via phone during scheduled weekend and after-hours shifts. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate total patient care according to physician orders while accepting work-related calls without voicemail unless assisting a patient or family. Maintain sound knowledge of nursing principles and procedures, with preferred experience in hospice or home health. Available for on-call rotations throughout the Southeast region to support the Caris Healthcare mission of providing hospice care with grace and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation
- Nursing experience
- Sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures and elements of patient family teaching
- Availability for work-related phone calls throughout scheduled after hours and/or weekend work hours
- Ability to accept work-related phone calls without allowing them to go to voice mail
