Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in outpatient clinics across Park City and Heber, prioritizing triage and executing standing orders and therapies. Direct interdisciplinary teams through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate patient delivery. Document patient responses to interventions, revise care plans based on clinical outcomes, and ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Submit availability for one weekday and two weekend shifts per month, with a minimum of four shifts monthly. BLS certification and current RN licensure required; BSN degree mandatory for new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- >1 year of licensed RN experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- BSN Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for weekday shifts
- Must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Must be able to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Must be able to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Must be able to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Must be able to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Must be able to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Must have manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Must be able to push/pulling gurneys and portable equipment
- Must be able to navigate crowded and busy rooms
- Must be able to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
