Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Wards department at Ross Hall Hospital (Glasgow). Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols; assess patient needs, prioritise care, monitor vital signs, escalate changes using clinical judgement; administer medications safely per hospital policies and the NMC Code; maintain accurate documentation of assessments, care plans, and observations; ensure compliance with NMC standards and hospital governance; identify and report incidents and safeguarding concerns per procedures. Flexible 36-hour, part-time shifts with a requirement to cover a flexible shift pattern. Requires Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration and experience in a clinical healthcare setting; strong teamwork and IT skills for patient records and care planning.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration
- Demonstrable experience in clinical healthcare setting
- Good understanding of clinical governance and patient safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
