Registered Nurse -Walker Heart Cardiovascular Clinic (Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8am- 5pm)

Collect and input patient vitals, medical history, and information into the EMR system. Prepare patients for procedures and examinations, assist physicians with medication refills, and obtain prior authorizations. Schedule appointments for procedures and diagnostic tests, then communicate results to patients in a timely manner. Provide direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies as directed by the provider. Serve as a patient liaison and advocate, triage calls per established protocols, and document details in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with staff, providers, and clinic leaders on operational issues, patient care concerns, and staffing. Requires a registered nurse license, CPR certification, and an accredited nursing degree; 80% standing/walking, 20% sitting.
