Job Summary
Provide full range of skilled nursing care to patients in a home care setting with a focus on patient education and palliative care. Deliver support to families while meeting the physical and emotional needs of patients at the end of life. Commit to full-time hours for the first 6-8 weeks during orientation, followed by a minimum of 20 hours monthly with weekend and overnight availability. Requires current Vermont RN licensure and one year of hospice experience or equivalent general nursing background.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing or higher
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area
- Commitment to full time hours for the first 6-8 weeks
- Minimum commitment of 20 hours a month
- Availability on weekends and overnights
