Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing care and support to patients in a home care setting with a focus on patient education and palliative care. Deliver physical and emotional support to patients while educating and assisting families. Commit to full-time hours for the first 6-8 weeks, followed by a minimum of 20 hours monthly with weekend and overnight availability. Maintain current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont and hold an Associate's degree in nursing or higher.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing or higher
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area
- Minimum of one or more years of directly related home or community hospice nursing experience
- Two or more years of related home or public health nursing experience
- Three or more years of general nursing experience, including at least one year of directly related home/public health or hospice nursing experience
- Commit to full time hours for the first 6-8 weeks
- Minimum commitment of 20 hours a month
- Availability on weekends and overnights
