Job Summary
Provide full-range skilled nursing care to patients in a home care setting with a focus on patient education and palliative care. Deliver support to families while meeting physical and emotional needs within the community hospice environment. Commit to full-time hours for the first 6-8 weeks during orientation, followed by a minimum of 20 hours monthly with weekend and overnight availability. Requires current Vermont RN licensure and one year of directly related hospice experience or equivalent public health background.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing or higher
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area
- Minimum of one or more years of directly related home or community hospice nursing experience OR, two or more years of related home or public health nursing experience OR, three or more years of general nursing experience, including at least one year of directly related home/public health or hospice nursing experience
- Commit to full time hours for the first 6-8 weeks
- Minimum commitment of 20 hours a month
- Availability on weekends and overnights
