Job Summary
Provide full range of skilled nursing care to patients in a home care setting with a focus on patient education and palliative care. Deliver support to families while meeting the physical and emotional needs of patients in the community. Commit to full-time hours during the initial 6-8-week orientation period, followed by a minimum of 20 hours monthly with weekend and overnight availability. Requires current Vermont RN licensure and at least one year of hospice or home health experience, with a preferred certification in hospice and palliative care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing or higher
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area
- Commitment to full time hours for the first 6-8 weeks
- Minimum commitment of 20 hours a month
- Availability on weekends and overnights
