Registered Nurse - Visit/Resource Nurse - Community Hospice

Job Summary
Provide full range of skilled nursing care to patients in a home care setting with a focus on patient education and palliative care. Deliver support to families while addressing physical and emotional needs within the community. Maintain current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont and hold an Associate's degree in nursing or higher. This per diem position requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours monthly after orientation, with availability on weekends and overnights. Candidates must commit to full-time hours for the first 6-8 weeks. We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time external applicants and provide structured preceptorships, continuing education, and safe patient handling equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing or higher
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area
- Commitment to full time hours for the first 6-8 weeks
- Minimum commitment of 20 hours a month
- Availability on weekends and overnights
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in hospice and palliative care
- One or more years of directly related home or community hospice nursing experience
- Two or more years of related home or public health nursing experience
- Three or more years of general nursing experience, including at least one year of directly related home/public health or hospice nursing experience
