Registered Nurse

Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments, verify consents and orders, and perform time-out procedures. Function as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures, coordinating room activities and anticipating surgeon needs. Administer medications safely and collaborate with anesthesia during induction and emergencies. Provide PACU care including airway management, vital sign monitoring, and pain control. Ensure accurate documentation throughout all phases and communicate effective hand-off reports during transitions. Maintain patient and staff safety using appropriate body mechanics and established protocols. Requires minimum two years of operating room experience, active RN license, and BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Located in a new Ambulatory Surgery Center in Frederick, MD with training starting in Hagerstown.
