Job Summary
Circulating RN in ophthalmology/perioperative setting. Prepare the OR for surgery, organize instruments and scrub table, assist the Ophthalmologist during procedures, and monitor sterility. Complete charting and administrative tasks, support risk management by identifying and reporting patient-safety concerns, and assist the center director or management as needed. Flexible schedule (Monday-Saturday, 1 shift per week) with willingness to support both LASIK MD Victoria and LASIK MD Vancouver locations. Requires active RN license in British Columbia (BCCNP) and Basic Life Support; perioperative certification or 10+ years OR experience; ophthalmology/optometry experience is an asset. Strong communication, meticulous attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in good standing with BCCNP
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Perioperative certification OR 10+ years of operating room experience
