Job Summary
Provide total care for a group of residents within a primary nursing care delivery model at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Support the Philosophy of Patient-Focused Care concept and principles while working closely with the multidisciplinary team. Function effectively in an interdisciplinary setting as a primary nurse, demonstrating excellent assessment skills and therapeutic communication with residents, including those with dementia. Ensure resident and family-focused care is prioritized in daily practice. This temporary part-time role requires current Ontario College of Nurses Registration and B.C.L.S. Certification, with experience in long-term care essential. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current Ontario College of Nurses Registration
- Current B.C.L.S. Certification
- Experience in Long Term care
