Job Summary
Provide pre and post renal transplant patient support and care for post-surgical patients undergoing carotid revascularization, stents, amputations, and general surgeries. Manage drips including PCA pumps, heparin, and insulin while developing skills in wound changes such as Wet-to-Dry, wound VAC, and post-surgical drains. Serve patients requiring surgical interventions for significant peripheral vascular compromise. This Registered Nurse Vascular role offers a sign-on bonus at Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN, with full-time weekend or day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State'
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
