Job Summary
Registered Nurse on the Vascular Access Team at CHOP with a 36-hour/week full-time schedule, rotating days/evenings/nights and primarily 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to deliver safe, compassionate, culturally effective pediatric care; gathering and synthesizing assessment data; recognizing clinical changes and utilizing resources; coordinating care with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams; developing and revising plans of care; ensuring care aligns with evidence-based practice and nursing standards; coordinating care across the continuum; leading and teaching patients/families; documenting outcomes; maintaining safety and effective hand-off practices; and contributing to quality improvement, professional development, and Magnet-related initiatives. Licensure requirements include PA/NJ RN licensing (or temporary permits) and CPR; annual influenza vaccination is required for patient-facing roles. Experience in pediatrics or a related specialty is preferred, with ED/ICU background encouraged. Salary range shown as hourly rates, converted to annualized USD values for full-time employment.
