Registered Nurse - Vascular Access/PICC Lines

Job Summary
Part-time, Day shift RN in the Vascular Access/PICC Lines team at TriHealth. Responsible for direct/indirect patient care, vascular access care, including PICC insertions and line maintenance, with emphasis on sterile technique, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and the care team. Will float between GSH and BNH on a six-week schedule; may precept and mentor teammates, participate in quality improvement, and meet unit requirements. Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing and 2-3 years of nursing experience with vascular access/PICC lines; BSN is required within 5 years of hire. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit. Certification in vascular access preferred and must be willing to obtain within one year. Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - Nursing (Required)
- New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. (Required)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience (Required)
- Experience in vascular access/PICC lines is required (minimum of one year)
- Must be proficient in peripheral IV placement
- Certification in vascular access strongly preferred (must be willing to obtain within one year upon hire)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
