Job Summary
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, prepare patients, and circulate diagnostic and interventional peripheral vascular procedures in an outpatient office-based laboratory. Administer medications and moderate sedation while monitoring cardiac rhythm, blood pressure, and respiratory status. Assist physicians with sterile procedures, manage recovery including sheath removal and hemostasis, and provide discharge education. Adhere to OSHA and infection control standards, maintain emergency equipment readiness, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Requires an active Georgia RN license, BLS/ACLS certification, and experience in cardiovascular or critical care settings. Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited program
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to administer moderate sedation
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in cardiovascular, vascular, or specialty nursing
- Previous Cath Lab, ICU, Emergency Department, PACU, or Critical Care experience
