Job Summary
As a RN Vail Float, deliver nursing care to telemetry and/or medical-surgical patients as the primary nurse and/or care coordinator, leading collaboration across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel with accountability for patient care. Requires Colorado RN licensure and BLS; ACLS may be required for higher tiers. BSN preferred; 2–3 years of acute or critical care experience. Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities are essential to support patient outcomes and nursing initiatives within a large healthcare system.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
- BLS – Healthcare provider
- ACLS preferred; ACLS required for Tier IV and V
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- Two years experience in acute care (Tier I, II); Three years experience in critical care (Tier IV and V)
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families; Ability to manage a team and work within a team to ensure quality patient care
