Job Summary
Registered Nurse on a specialized unit with responsibilities including assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care; supervising non-RN personnel; serving as charge nurse; providing education and perioperative/neuro care; CTICU/HVC ICU units; experience with neuro assessments, airway management, tracheostomy suctioning, ventilator care, and intra-hospital patient care coordination; BSN preferred and Connecticut RN licensure required; BCLS certification required within one month of hire; comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
