Registered Nurse - Urgent Hiring

Registered Nurse on a nursing unit with supervision responsibilities including supervising non-RN personnel, acting as Charge Nurse, and potentially rotating to other units. Provides ongoing patient assessments, develops and documents individualized plans of care with input from patient and family, collaborates with the healthcare team, evaluates patient progress and readiness for discharge, and educates patients and families post-discharge. Demonstrates competency in neuro-related care (neuro assessment, airway management, care of trached patients, suctioning, and procedures), supports education programs (Tia Teaching Program), and functions as a preceptor to new staff. Role includes coordination of care, adherence to unit policies, and commitment to values such as integrity, patient-centered care, respect, accountability, and compassion. Licensure required in CT with possible clinical certification encouraged; BSN preferred; BCLS required within one month of hire.
